Today is Memorial Day for those of us in the United States. We honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Today is also a day to say thank you to the living/surviving military. Thank you very much. Also, a special shout out to my family who has served in the military.
Have a blessed Memorial day as you stop for a moment, honor, and consider those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to assure our freedom. God bless our military and the United States!

So, I made a new friend at the Bonsai convention. He wasn’t very talkative and has a thing against … everything. I am rendering the video right now but thought I would post this picture in the meantime. Oh and ::: laugh ::: there was a horror convention next door to the bonsai convention.

So, I am going to a Bonsai thingamajig tomorrow with my friend who looks exactly like the guy who plays Thor in The Avengers. I have been known to commit planticide in the past so it might take the mighty power of fake Thor to prevent another plant nightmare.
Yes, totally going to make a video. I doubt I will convince him to wear his Thor costume while looking at the Bonsai … stuff. I don’t even know what to expect on this excursion.

Thank God For Gatorade

When I was a kid I hated Gatorade. Just didn’t like it. Then when I was working out last year, before recommitting two months ago, I was getting headaches almost every other workout and migraines about once a month. Someone mentioned that perhaps I was dehydrated and my electrolytes might be all screwed up. They recommended Gatorade. Since then, I drink low calorie G2 Gatorade after every workout and guess what?
No headaches and now I get migraines maybe once every three months and they don’t last more than 6-8 hours. Thank God for Gatorade.
